Monday, August 8

  • 9:00 am - Retail Window Display judging – Business locations throughout Tell City

  • 6:00 pm - Miss Schweizer Fest Pageant, Junior Miss Schweizer Fest & Schweizer Fest Princess Competition – EUCC Church, 802 10th Street

Tuesday, August 9

  • 6:00 pm – 37th Annual Old-Timers Baseball Game – Frank Clemens Field at Walter Hagedorn Park (sponsored by Golden Living Center/Lincoln Hills)

Wednesday, August 10

  • 7:00 am -11:00 am – 37th annual Kaffee Klatch – EUCC Church, 802 10th Street (Contact Betty Cash at 812-719-8980 or Kathy Kinnett at 812-547-3225 for tickets.)

  • 9:00 am - midnight – Schweizer Fest Market – City Hall Park

  • 6:00 pm -10:00 pm – Family Appreciation Night – Free rides sponsored by Ivy Tech Community College & Schweizer Fest Inc.

  • 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm – Tell City High School Band - Musik Halle, City Hall Park

  • 7:00 pm -7:30 pm – 41st Annual Distinguished Citizen Award – Musik Halle, City Hall Park – Reception following at Tell City Museum (at the corner of 9th & Franklin Streets)

  • 7:30 pm – Street Car Parade and Contest – (Registration at 6:45 in front of Hauenstein’s) Starting at Main & Franklin Streets continuing to Musik Halle, City Hall Park where winners will be announced.

  • 8:30 pm -10:30 pm – “Stan LaGrange and Kelly Clark” – Brau Garten, City Hall Park (sponsored by Celebrations)

Thursday, August 11

  • Throughout the day – Old Fashioned Bargain Days (sidewalk sales)

  • 11:00 am - 5:00 pm – Self-Guided Walking Tours – beginning at the Tell City Historical Society Museum at 9th and Franklin Streets (Sponsored by ATTC Manufacturing, Inc. & the Tell City Historical Society)

  • 11:00 am - 5:00 pm – Tell City Historical Society Museum open

  • 2:00 pm - Tell City Historical Society Movie

  • 4:00 pm - Tell City Historical Society Movie

  • 5:30 pm – Schweizer Fest Testimonial Dinner and Program honoring 50 years of service from Dr. Gene Ress – Knights of Columbus Home, 947 11th Street
