Saturday, August 2

  • 9:00 am to 3:00 p.m. - Archery Contest – Tell City Jr./Sr. High School Auxiliary Gym (see Sports Page for details)

  • 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm - Second Annual Bluegrass Saturday - City Hall Park - Sponsored by Tell City Regional Arts Association (See Musical Entertainment page for details)

  • 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm - Fabulous Fifties Edelweiss Ball - cocktails at 6:00 pm; dinner at 7:00 pm - Guests are encouraged to dress in period clothing - Tickets are $50 per person and include a souvenir glass - Schergens Center, 1140 31st Street, Tell City (for tickets contact Brandi Hess at 812-549-5954)

Sunday, August 3

  • 1:00 pm - Schweizer Fest Pageant - Community Christian Church, 821 10th Street (see Queen Contest Page for details)

Tuesday, August 5

  • 5:00 pm – 40th Annual Old-Timers Baseball Game for active and inactive players age 40 and older – Frank Clemens Field at Walter Hagedorn Park (sponsored by Golden Living Center/Lincoln Hills) (see Sports Page for details)

Wednesday, August 6

Celebrations is Wednesday's entertainment sponsor

  • 7:00 am -10:00 am – 40th Annual Kaffee Klatch – Sponsored by Epsilon Omega Chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa. - EUCC Church, 802 10th Street - Tickets are $7 for adults; $3 for ages 6 – 12; and ages 5 and under eat free.   • 7:00 pm -7:30 pm – 44th Annual Distinguished Citizen Award presented by the Tell City Historical Society – Musik Halle, City Hall Park

  • 7:30 pm – Annual Apple Lighting Ceremony– Musik Halle, City Hall Park

  • 7:30 pm – Street Car Parade and Contest – (Registration at 6:45 in front of Hauenstein’s) Starting at Main & Franklin Streets continuing to Musik Halle, City Hall Park where winners will be announced - Sponsored by Hauenstein's Clothing Store
